Meet Dr. Satow
Born and raised in Monterey, California, Dr. Gregg K. Satow is an active member in his community. He supports and volunteers with several local schools and non-profit organizations. He coached Carmel baseball for several years. Dr. Satow lives in Carmel with his wife, Julie, his 3 kids, and 2 dogs.
Dr. Satow loves all sports, especially the Golden State Warriors, San Francisco Giants and Oakland Athletics and has managed and played on local softball teams. He has been the team physician at Monterey Peninsula College (MPC) since 1991, the team physician at Monterey High School (MHS) since 2002, and the team physician at California State University at Monterey Bay (CSUMB).
Dr. Gregg K. Satow’s education started at Monterey High, where he was the co-valedictorian, a student athlete, and the Principal’s Cup recipient. From there he graduated from UC Davis, where he was a Regents Scholar. Dr. Satow graduated from UC San Francisco Medical School, and completed his residency in Orthopedic surgery at UC San Francisco.
Dr. Satow has been board-certified in Orthopedic Surgery since 1993 and has recertified for this twice, in 2003 and 2012. He is a member of several associations, including:

Dr. Gregg K. Satow has full Active Staff privileges at Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula (CHOMP), active staff privileges at Westland House, and full active staff privileges at Monterey Peninsula Surgery Center (MPSC). He has had a successful Orthopaedic surgery practice on the Monterey Peninsula since 1991, performing thousands of orthopedic surgical procedures at CHOMP and MPSC.
